Dr Dre Versus 50 Cent

, Andre Young a.k.a Dr. Dre who\'s now 45 years of age got his name from his love for basketball superstar Dr. J. and Warren G. is his step brother by the way. He is the founder and currently CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and also a former shareholder of Death Row Records. He\'s beats by dr dre white studio been instrumental in launching many artists careers including Eminem, Snoop Dogg and recently almost enemy 50 Cents. He\'s mostly credited for popularizing West Coast G-Funk type of rap as a producer. He started small in music with the group World Class Wreckin\' Crew but later found fame with his previous group with Easy-E and Ice Cube, a group called N.W.A with very explicit lyrics bringing out the evil and violent kind of lifestyles in the streets. He did solo music later and his hit \'Let me ride\' song won him a Grammy in 2003. In the 2000s Dr. Dre has been doing more producing than singing though but contributing vocals to other artist\'s songs and a bit of acting. In 2003 he co-produced a major label debut album \'Get Rich or Die Tryin\' by New York based rapper 50 Cents.

Curtis James Jackson a.k.a 50 Cent, who\'s a bit younger than Dre at 35, didn\'t have a big start either. Growing up in a poor neighborhood, south side Jamaica, Queens in New York, he found himself moving from never having enough to never seeing his mum again after she was shot when he was only 8 years old. His start in music was a bit rough too with his first album \'Power of the Dollar\' never seeing the light of day after being shot \"allegedly 9 times\" just a few days before the release. He survived, but his record company dropped him. Fortunately for 50cents, singer and producer Eminem heard one of his mix tapes and declared him a favorite in an interview which saw him sign a joint deal with Eminem\'s shady records and Dre\'s Aftermath Records, a deal that clearly changed his life completely and one that saw a relationship between 50 Cents and Dr. Dre.

With the recent issues in G-Unit group which saw The Game out, 50 Cent is not amused with Dr. Dre for working with The Game. Though it\'s not verbalized much by the parties involved, there\'s clearly been tension between Dr. Dre and 50 Cents. However 50 Cent won\'t say much not because of his relationship with Dre but because of the relationship he has with Eminem which apparently he values so much. According to him, offending Dr. Dre is offending Eminem so he wont say much. We all remember 50 Cent\'s beef with Fat Joe and Jadakiss because they made a record with his enemy Ja Rule. beats by dr dre white studio 50 Cents explanation is that where he grew up, when the man standing next to the man you want to hit is standing too close, hit him too. Your enemy\'s friends are your enemies too.
